Jarrod Plant

Test Engineer

Jarrod completed his Bachelor of Information Technology with First Class Honours in 2004 at Griffith University. His honours project focused on the development of software, for a mobile device, that has the potential to reduce drug administration errors by automating error prone steps.

Since joining K.J. Ross & Associates, Jarrod has been involved in several system functional testing projects for clients such as Westfield, Hunter Valley coal Chain and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority. He has also been involved in non-functional testing including Stress and Volume testing of a distributed system for Telstra, and Load and Performance testing for Westfield.

Jarrod has a keen interest in increasing testing performance through the use of model based testing. He co-authored an award winning paper on model based testing for the 2005 Australian Software Engineering Conference, and presented at the 2005 Test Automation Workshop.
