The Shop For Your School and Christmas Wishes campaigns have the objective to increase turnover through increased Westfield shopping centre visitation by shoppers. These campaigns were loyalty based systems with various rewards in return for shopping at Westfield Shopping Centres. The online system also involved scanning technology for receipt uploads.
SMART Labs was appointed as an outsourced partner over multiple seasons to complete independent Load Testing as well as Independent System Testing, and culminated in issuing a NATA accredited test certificate. This provided confidence in the scalability and robustness of the campaign application prior to deployment in 32 shopping centres for the national campaign whilst production monitoring ensured availability and performance during the campaigns.
K. J. Ross & Associates was also engaged to perform Load and System Testing for Westfield’s EFTPOS based GiftCard system. This project required integration with financial institutions and IVR systems and scanner devices. It utilised .NET technology, MSMQ and Biztalk.
