The annual 6th Australian Test Managers Forum (TMF) was conducted on the 1st and 2nd of May 2008. It was a gathering of experienced test managers from some of Australia's leading organisations to share experiences and discover unique approaches to making software testing teams more effective, efficient and highly regarded. The contributions of the attendees represent real thought leadership regarding the drivers affecting the management of software testing initiatives.
The forum consisted of facilitated work-shopping sessions, presentations, survey analysis and sharing of best practices. One of the most important aspects of the forum is the networking between organisations and the sharing of best-practices. There were 40 test management representatives from over 20 organisations.
This year representatives were divided into 6 teams, each facilitated by a strategic test consultant from K. J. Ross and Associates. This year the teams were represented by famous movie stars:

- Jimmy Stewart
- Katharine Hepburn
- Marilyn Monroe
