The Australian Test Managers Forum this year was again a great success.
For the seventh year test managers from across Australia gathered to discuss their common challenges, current trends and best practices. Ten different speakers presented case studies across a range of topics including Testing Standards, Metrics Collection, Scheduling, Off shoring & Requirements. Many of these presentations can be accessed through our on-line resources and we are grateful to our speakers for sharing their expertise and experiences.
Critical Challenges Survey
At TMF each year participants are asked to prioritise the key challenges that they face as a test manager. The survey produced interesting and informative results which are again available through our on-line resources. It would be interesting to see if you agree.
Trends in the Industry
Our major survey collected statistics on a number of trends within the software testing industry and produced results regarding training within the industry, salaries for software test professionals, and test methodologies and tools applied. We expect to be expanding the scope of this research over the next six months and will keep you informed on what we see as current market trends. Results can be found by clicking here.
