In its eighth successful year, the Australian Test Managers Forum has once again developed a facilitated programme focussing on the roles and responsibilities of the Test Manager.

This forum has been put together to personally invite 30 - 40 experienced test managers from some of Australia’s leading organisations to share experiences and discover unique approaches to making software testing teams more effective, efficient and highly regarded.

Sessions are either workshop style team exercises or participant led case studies. For each participant led case study session there are typically 2 presentations, followed by a facilitated discussion. This helps the attendees analyse the presentations to ascertain the lessons learned and best practices associated with the area. Sessions are interactive with opportunities for discussion.

All participants are encouraged to bring along material to share or for show-and-tell during the sessions. If you have a topic you would like to discuss you are also welcome to present a case study.

Tutorials

Prior to the Test Managers Forum each year we hold three days of tutorials providing structured learning opportunities for both experienced test managers and those new to their test management responsibilities.  You may attend the tutorials without attending the forum and vice versa.  The tutorial schedule is available below.

How Much Does it Cost?

The Test Managers Forum is offered for the all inclusive price of $2500 including GST. This price includes:
  • Published results from the workshops

Accommodation, meals and events including:
  • 3 nights accommodation at the Marriott Surfers Paradise
  • 3 breakfasts
  • 2 morning teas
  • 2 lunches
  • 2 afternoon teas
  • 1 ‘Meet & Greet’ drinks event
  • 1 dinner event including drinks
  • 1 social event

Tutorials are charged at the following rates:
1 day tutorials $760
2 day tutorials $1460

These prices include morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
No accommodation is included in tutorial prices.
