The 8th workshop on test automation will be held as usual at Bond University on the Gold Coast. The aim of this popular workshop is to improve the practice of test automation. This year we anticipate all participants will present their experiences in an informal manner. The workshop will also include structured presentations and discussions on issues affecting test automation. Both positive and negative experiences are welcome.

The workshop will be limited to 40 registrants and industry practitioners are especially welcome. If you wish to participate at TAW 2011, please submit a completed application form. Those who wish to make a presentation must also include a tentative title and abstract of the presentation.

Jacko Smit

Jacko Smit has over 10 years of testing and test automation experience and currently leads the test automation stream with in the testing service line. He is a very accomplished tester with extensive financial services experience.  He has supplemented his manual testing skills with significant automated and performance testing tools expertise (incl. QTP, WinRunner and LoadRunner). Jacko has been a member of testing teams that have not only conducted automated and performance testing but he also strategised, planned, developed and implemented automated and performance testing solutions.
