Workplace Competency and Project Assessment
Following successful completion of the CSTP Foundation and CSTP Advanced learning curriculum, a student must pass a Workplace Competency Assessment and Project Assessment in order to achieve full Certification as a Certified Software Test Professional and therefore graduate successfully. These components are optional and do not carry a separate fee.

Workplace Competency evaluation is comprised of two parts: assessment of a folio of work completed by the certification candidate, and an on-site visit by a certification evaluator.

Project Assessment requires candidates to undertake an individual project that demonstrate competency in a specific area of software testing. This project should represent a minimum of 60 hours work.
